The Organic & Biodynamic Meats WA Co-op is a group of certified organic or biodynamic farmers that work together to supply the Western Australian market with healthy organic meat, ensuring that the integrity of organic certification is kept from paddock to plate.
In 2007 the Co-operative began marketing Organic and Biodynamic beef but very quickly expanded into Sheep (lamb, hogget and mutton) and Goat and Pork. It is envisaged that further expansion will occur to encompass other types of Certified Organic and Biodynamic meat grown in Western Australia.
The Co-op consists of farmers that share a passion to grow a product that is Naturally Best, producing quality meat which does not contain harmful synthetic chemicals, veterinary pharmaceuticals or growth hormones. These enthusiastic and dedicated organic and biodynamic meat producers work together to provide customers with reliable and easy access to healthy, delicious organic and biodynamic meats grown in Western Australia.
The animals range freely and graze on healthy pasture just as nature intended with limited other inputs as allowed by the Australian Organic Standards.
Our meat is produced by local family farmers who care about the welfare of their land, their animals and consumers. Each animal has the unique flavour of the region from which it has come, with the different soil, climate conditions, pasture, species and breeds of livestock in each location creating subtle and wonderful variations in taste, colour and texture.
