BENEFITS OF ORGANIC & BIODYNAMIC MEAT
In 2007 the
Co-operative began marketing Organic and Biodynamic beef but very quickly
expanded into sheep and lambs. It is envisaged that further
expansions will occur to encompass other types of Certified Organic and
Biodynamic meat grown in Western Australia.
When trying
our meat for the first time you may notice some differences:
Flavour
Our meat has
a highly enhanced, natural-meat flavour as it is grown on pasture and not
force-fed on grain.
Health
There are no
synthetic herbicides or pesticides, artificial fertilizers, reproductive
or growth hormones, GMO’s, or veterinary pharmaceuticals used to grow our
meat so it contains no harmful synthetic chemicals and is a completely
natural food, “as nature intended”.
Nutrients
All your
essential meat nutrients can be obtained from moderate proportions of our
meat – large quantities are not required to obtain your necessary vitamins
and minerals.
Vitamins and Minerals
Our Organic
and Biodynamic meat is a concentrated package of Protein, Iron, Omega 3,
Vitamin E and Vitamin B12.
Uniqueness
Each animal
contains the unique flavour of the region from which it has come with the
different soil, climate conditions, pasture species and breeds of
livestock in each locality creating subtle and wonderful variations in
taste, colour and texture.
